Overview:
This course is perfect for the beginner/intermediate paddler that has decided to make kayaking a new lifestyle hobby. We will cover all of the basics to keep you safe, educated and having a lot of fun!This course will offer three to four hours water time that will cover everything you need to know (even if you have no previous experience)! A course would start at 300 Candi Lane, Columbia SC for about an hour to cover safety, gear outfitting and basic maneuvering. After that we will be on the water for about 3 hours. This class a 1 day class. Private classes are offered for individuals that need specific instruction on advanced skills

- 5 hour duration (3-4 on the water, 1-2 on land/classroom)
- Classes take place on the Lower Saluda River
- Guest to instructor ratio: 4 guests to 1 instructor-Course caps at 4 total
- Clinic includes all boating equipment, instructor and shuttle
- NOT included-meals, lodging, clothing, sunscreen etc.
Prerequisite Skill:
- Ages 14 and up, students under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
- Be in good health and overall fitness.
- Comfort in open water and swimming REQUIRED!
